Two bits of news
Firstly, my short story The Curious Death of Amos Amberdale will be appearing in a two volume anthology early next year. It will be published by the Texan Sherlock Holmes society The Crew of the Barque Lone Star, and is designed to introduce Holmes to younger readers. No money will change hands, but I am pleased at the exposure my work will get as the book will be sold in the biggest bookstore in the US, Barnes and Noble.
Secondly, my third book is finished! Aurora Jones, Private Detective is now with my publisher, and hopefully they will like it. It contains seven short stories and a novelette, and describes the first cases of Aurora Jones, whom I introduced in my novel Black and Deep Desires. Holmes makes a cameo in one story, Watson in another, and they are both involved more deeply in two further stories. Watch this space!
Audible rankings, March 2026
Very pleased to find the audiobook of my novel is Number 3 in the Top 25 MX audiobooks on the Audible platform for March. My first book (The Case of the Australian Atlases) is still Number 12 after six months too! Well done also to my fellow MX author Ken Courtenay for having two books in the Top 10, including Number 1.

Book signing today
My new book is now for sale at Paperbark Merchants, my local (and fantastic!) Albany bookshop. I had an author signing today, met lots of lovely people, some of whom bought my novel. Many thanks to all of them, and to those who have bought a copy in various formats via the Kickstarter campaign.

Sherlock Holmes Magazine to publish my story
I am pleased to announce that one of the stories in my published collection will appear in the next issue (Winter 2025/26) of the Sherlock Holmes Magazine. They have done a nice layout with lovely illustrations too.
